These notes will take you from Pinjar Rd along Neaves Rd to the Julimar State Forest, through the forest and back to the starting point.

This drive is about a 180km round trip from the Neaves/Pinjar Rd intersection. Taking it easy without stops, you can expect it to take approximately four hours. Stopping for lunch and wineries will obviously add to this time.

This is not a difficult trip. While there is plenty of mud in the forest, this route avoids all of it but does allow drivers to play if they feel the needed. There are a few simple hill climbs and descents and some small creek crossings. In summer, the creeks will have have little or no water in them.

As with other route notes, the following abbrevations are used:

BL: Bear Left
BR: Bear Right
KSO: Keep Straight On
TL: Turn Left
TR: Turn Right
XRDS: Crossroads

Where possible, road names have been given but in the forest tracks often don't have signs posted indicating their name.
