A late trip posted on the web for a short night run up to Mundaring to test McGyver new suspension.
The night run up at
Mundaring was absolutely awesome, went up and down every hill with not a
problem and then turn around an came back up the real bad ones with easy.
The only one I did not try was the Blackboy hill, next time I might.
I had Skip in the car as navigator and he was just blown away with how easy the
hills were with the new suspension, as these were not easy hill even Badger in
the Surf with twin difflock found a few of them hard going. but all three vehicle
did every hill with very little problem and happy to report not damage was done
to any.
I am going to make a night run a regular trip, say once a month.
Took few photo, the best one was.
I was the first to
go up Axel hill and 3/4 way up there was a car in the middle of the track
on it roof and no way around it, so we had a quick group meeting and it was
voted that I should drag the car down the hill and off the track, so we did the
right thing and towed it down the hill on it roof, but near the bottom the thing
got jammed in a hole, so we then tired the robe on the back and flipped it over
onto it wheels. Dino had to sit on the car pushed in roof to steer the car
down the rest of the way , great fun and at the bottom I climbed on the car
for the photo. Will upload the photo later on to night.
