I enjoy watching Pat Callinan's 4x4 Adventures, which is broadcast on channel ONE & Ten (in Australia). The series first caught my eye, as his vehicle of choice in Season 1 was a silver Kia Sorento turbo diesel, identical to the Sorento that I used to own. It showed that with the right skills and equipment, you can take a mid-sized, non-mainstream 4x4 (rather than a large 4x4) to get to some of the most remote places. I have been to many of the places in his series, but it has inspired me to set my goals for many more of Australia's remote and beautiful locations. The episodes are produced quite professionally, with great photography and narration, and is packed with info about 4x4 techniques and accessories. I feel that in parts, the "adds" for these accessories can be a little too frequent, but I guess that this is how he earns his income, and so it's ok.
