But then disaster struck. Paul flipped the little red tractor whilst negotiating a difficult exit from a bowl. Paul was unhurt, and managed to first radio us for help, before climbing out through the driver's window.

About 2 minutes after rollover, TC is gearing up to put it back on it's wheels pronto, as it is leaking transmission fluid, brake fluid, petrol etc. We needed to get it upright as quickly as possible. Note the broken flag pole, but the spottie was un-touched!

About a minute or 2 later... A Gentle pull with the snatch rope was all it needed to nearly right it. We then attached it to the front to complete the manoeuvre.

Paul remained extremely calm throughout the entire procedure, even smiling for the camera here. Paul, the way you conducted yourself in this stressful situation is highly commended. Paul, if ever I am in trouble, I hope you are there to take control of the situation is such a professional manner. You are a champion. 0316.JPG

Back on it's wheels. Checking under the bonnet for damage - there was none. A few panels were pushed in though. Thanks to "Bigfoot" of "Quad-Drive 4x4 club" for towing Paul for a few K's back to the Lancelin servo, where we cleaned the car up a bit.

At the servo, Paul turned the key, and it started first pop, no smoke, no fuss. I jumped in the passenger seat and popped the roof back out with my feet. We helped Paul remove at least a wheelbarrow full of sand out of the car. Oil and water levels were checked all ok. The car drove like new! Did we here Paul say "my Hilux is un-breakable?" <grin> Paul seemed more upset that he broke his fishing rod that was on the roof! I am sure with a bit of Panel work, we will see the Little Red tractor return to it's former glory, very soon.
